Not much new. Liam is still ‘step by step’ improving his walking skills, but can’t yet walk unassisted. We’ve caught him standing for a few seconds at a time before he realizes it and squats into a seated position…. so we’ve still got a bit more time to put things up high and buy some babygates.
His sleep habits are beyond bizarre at the moment… he’s been waking up at 2 in the morning most nights for the last 8 days, and won’t go back to sleep for a good 3-4 hours (and a good middle of the night play), so mum has been exhausted. But last night he slept from 8:30 until about 9 am… so we’re crossing fingers that his poor sleep over the past week has been the result of teething, and he’ll be back to normal now.
He’s becoming very independent at dinnertime, and only likes to eat what he can put in his own mouth. Which is making mealtime quite long, and messy. And he loves his yogurt at dessert, so much so, that he licks the bowl out when he’s done!!
it’s a glorious spring day today… full sunshine, and temperatures in the 20s, so we took the dude out for a play in the toddler park after our market jaunt. Oh, he loved it.
