Whoops… we forgot to post some pics from last Sunday’s jaunt to see some of the Corso Carnival (the Carnival Parade).
We met up with Amy, Eric and Ava for a bit of confetti and silly string fun, and then took the kids out for a yummy stone-oven cooked pizza afterwards. Liam’s first Carnival experience, and he was wide eyed for all of it!! Can’t wait until next year when we can dress him up in full fancy-dress for it!
On Tuesday is the ‘Incineration’, when they send the mascot float out to sea and alight it for a grandiose bonfire, followed by the best fireworks of the year, which we’ll enjoy from our terrace. Then the madness is all over until next February.
