A care package arrived from Canada this week! Grandma and Grandpa Woolley not only sent Liam some coveted Baby Gap shorts, but they also included three Laura Secord Easter Eggs (a long-standing Canadian tradition in the Woolley family) and a stuffed owl for the little dude. He loves owls…. and is constantly dragging one of his storybooks around the apartment, opened to the page with an owl, saying ‘Owwwwwwah… hoo! hoo! hoo!). Now he can carry his owl around instead of a book!
Mummy got Liam a super-soft bunny for easter this year, which we’ve already given him (and it’s taken up residence in his cot while he’s sleeping). And daddy came home with three gorgeous hand-painted chocolate bunnies today. It’s going to be hard to wait until Sunday to crack open the goodies!!
The weather this past week has been great, and mummy has finally been able to take some down time after 2 weeks of long hours. Time for a little R&R with Liam while daddy works… Liam has been shoe shopping for some new sandals, and has had his very first carousel ride down by the sea. And of course he’s been practicing his walking skills!
The weather forecast isn’t the greatest for Easter Weekend, so we’ll just have to play it by ear.
