Boo!! Rain!

Any plans for spending time outdoors was squashed by the weather, but Dan and Elaine had a great back up plan! Zoomania!! A huge indoor playpark, built over 4 levels for the more confident climbers, and with a separate toddler play area.

But first we fit in a Skype video call all the way to New Zealand, to talk to Sarah (Adam & Dan’s sister), and her little girl, Meg, who is 4. We lamented that she couldn’t be here for the Ferguson ‘reunion’, so all of the cousins could play together. But we were thinking of her, and we were happy to have at least Skyped her while we were all together! We hope to see you and Meg soon!!

Liam had a great time in the toddler play area, and Scarlett and Isobel convinced him to give the bigger playpark a bit of a try too! He loved the ‘ball room’, even though the balls went right up to his collarbone when he was sitting down!! Every time he moved, he got deeper and deeper in the balls! He also tried the big green slide, and the big old smile on his face said it all!!

We went back to the house for lunch, and then just kind of chilled out in the family room for the rest of the afternoon. Mum and Liam layed down for a bit of a cuddle late in the afternoon (mum was hoping Liam would fall asleep, but really he just wanted a quiet cuddle). And for our final meal together, Dan and Elaine prepared a spectacular roasted lamb.
