It was a quiet birthday again this year, but nice, all the same (despite Liam singing ‘Happy Birthday to Liam’ over and over). The weather was lovely, and daddy made a wonderful BBQ for dinner… tender steak with grilled onions, mushrooms and asparagus, homemade chimichurri sauce, and mum’s very favourite roasted-smashed potatoes. Followed by a delightful cake from LAC (an amazing french patisserie), an apple and caramel center surrounded by a heavy whipped chocolate ganache cake. Double yum.
Now that the weather if finally nice again, mum hopes to use her new sun chair a lot more often!!!!
So, thanks to everyone for your birthday wishes, and thanks to daddy for a wonderful dinner (and for giving Liam a bath afterwards). Mothers day is around the corner…. perhaps I can get a bit spoiled again soon??
